CHURCH OF THE SACRED HEART

Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Singapore

“And I will give you a new heart, and a new spirit within them; I will remove the stony heart from their bodies, and replace it with a natural heart”

~ Ezekiel 36:26

sacred mission

A Beacon of Faith, Unity, and Resilience

Sacred Heart Church sits quietly behind Fort Canning Hill, a special place that shows Singapore’s strong Catholic history. Started in 1910 to help Cantonese and Hakka-speaking Catholics, it has faced many challenges—like rebuilding after the war and updating its buildings over the years.

Today, it’s not just a piece of history but a lively, welcoming home for parishioners from different parts of Singapore. Catholics from every part of Singapore come here to pray, learn, and support one another. Sacred Heart Church is a reminder that faith can bring people together, no matter where they’re from, creating a community built on love, service, and shared belief.

Ministries and Communities

various Timing

Serving in ministry is more than an act of generosity, when we offer our time and talents to serve others, we step into the heart of Christ’s mission: to love and care for His people. Every act of service, whether teaching, welcoming, or helping those in need, we encounter God in a profound way.
